Q.What features make MediaMite's software product distinct?

A. We enable users with no technical expertise to effortlessly maintain a full-featured, dynamic web site. All content on the web site is editable through easy-to-use, intuitive forms. All of our features have distinctive elements, but the Easy Edit System, Create-A-Page, Event Calendar, Client/Member Directory, Communication Center, and the Photo Gallery are perhaps the most distinctive.

 

Q.Will my business/organization have its own domain name? Will there be any ads on our site?

A. Your web site is your own, which means that there will be no ads on your site and your business or organization will have its own domain name. If you do not already have a domain name, MediaMite can register one for you.

 

Q. Will my business or organization's web site have its own 'look'?

A. Yes. Your web site will have your own logo, banner, colors, photographs, and images. The design will be tailored to your tastes and needs. With the Easy Edit System and Create-A-Page, you can customize the pages, news items, and the other documents that you add to your site.

 

Q. My business/organization already has a web site. How can it be incorporated into MediaMite's Software Program?

A. If your business or organization already has a web site, then you have the bulk of the work that goes into setting up a site behind you. By far, the biggest part of web site creation is the content -- organizing it, gathering it, and generating it. Your content will not be lost when you get a MediaMite site. With the Easy Edit System, content from your old site can easily be recreated on your new one. In addition, if you like the "look" of your old site, MediaMite will incorporate those design elements into your MediaMite site.

 

Q. My business/organization has a database in which client/member information is stored. Can you import this information into your system?

A. Yes. Either send us a disk or email us a copy of the file. The file should be in Excel, Access, comma-delimited, or X-Base (Foxpro, Clipper, Paradox) format. We will then provide you with an estimate for that conversion.

 

Q. How many pages are we allowed to have on our web site? How many photographs?

A. With MediaMite's Easy Edit System, you can have an unlimited number of pages, photographs, and images on your web site. In addition, you can have an unlimited number of calendar events, forums, photo galleries, news items, archives, and links.

 

Q. How long will it take before MediaMite can get our site up and running?

A. About 30 days, however we can accomodate rush orders in 1 week or less.

 

Q. What does MediaMite need from us to get started in setting up our site?

A. All you have to do is send us a signed proposal (available upon request) with a deposit and a few basic things to set up your web site. These items include: logos, photographs, colors, and whatever additional information that you would like displayed on your Dynamic Home Page. It is that easy.
